The Department of Health (DOH) reported 615 new cases—336 fresh and 279 late—on June 12 alone, upping the official tally to 24,787. There are currently 17,974 active cases, and of this total, 17,292 (96.2%) are exhibiting only mild symptoms.

There were 16 deaths recorded as well, bringing the total death toll up to 1,052. On the flip side, the agency also reported that total recoveries have jumped to 5,454, with a record-high 289 recoveries in the same day.
