Billionaire Andrew Tan said employees of his Alliance Global Inc will get COVID-19 vaccines for free, signaling the start of immunizations in the private sector.

Alliance Global is composed of real estate company Megaworld, liquor maker Emperador Distillers and  Golden Arches Development, which operates McDonald's franchises.

Tan's effort runs parallel to the government's immunization program that rolled out last week, with frontliners as priority.
