New CAVITEX Toll Rates to Take Effect on May 22

New toll rates for the Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway, or CAVITEX, will take effect starting May 22, management said Wednesday.

The new toll prices for the Paranaque Toll Plaza were supposed to be implemented last May 12 but was deferred to provide more time for the registration of PUV drivers and operators to the toll reprieve program.

The new fares will apply to motorists intending to use the 6.48-kilometer Cavitex R-1 segment, which stretches from the Longos, Bacoor entry to the MIA Road exit. Motorists will need an EasyTrip RFID to pass through toll gates.
