Winning Senators, Party-Lists Set to be Proclaimed on May 18 and 19: Comelec
(UPDATE) The Commission on Elections is set to proclaim the winning senators on May 18 and the winning party-list groups on May 19 as it continues to canvass the votes cast in the recent national elections, a poll official said Sunday.
Winning senatorial candidates will be proclaimed on Wednesday afternoon as long as the certificate of canvass or COC from Hong Kong arrives on Monday, Comelec Commissioner George Erwin Garcia said.
It will be followed by the proclamation of party-list groups with guaranteed seats in Congress on Thursday afternoon, he added.
