DLSU Forms Unit Promoting Gender Sensitivity, Inclusion
De La Salle University (DLSU) said Thursday it would form a unit for the promotion of inclusion, diversity, and gender sensitivity in response to the Philippines' Safe Spaces Act and Mental Health Act.
The unit, called the Lasallian Center for Inclusion, Diversity, and Well-being, will begin its activities during the academic year 2021-2022, DLSU said.
"This will help ensure a learning and working environment that values the well-being, diversity, and dignity of persons in the community," the university said in a Facebook post.

"Consistent with the Lasallian principles of inclusivity and respect for all persons, this new unit responds to the requirements of the Safe Spaces Act and the Mental Health Act," the university said.
