The limitations of the COVID-19 community quarantine, coupled with fear of physically going to hospitals, has made it hard to see a doctor. Good thing Filipinos can now consult through telemedicine providers.

The DOH has recently partnered with SmartClinic, adding it to the roster of telemedicine providers.

You can log in to the Smart Clinic Patient Portal at smartclinic.ph to schedule an appointment or consult with doctors via videocall. The booking part of the website will show a database of available doctors and the necessary details — specialty, contact number, type of consultation, rate— based on your location.

Other telemedicine options include CloudPx (cloudmd.com.ph), SeeYouDoc (seeyoudoc.com), HealthnowPH (healthnow.ph), not to mention COVID-19 hotlines (02-894-26843 and 1555).

The DOH is also calling on medical practitioners who wish to volunteer as telemedicine doctors to send an email to nationalhealthprogram@gmail.com. Interested individuals will be endorsed to a DOH-recognized telemedicine provider for priority application processing and orientation schedule.
