Duterte Spokesman Harry Roque Gets Sick with COVID-19

He is in isolation.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said Monday he tested positive for COVID-19.

Roque said he received his test results on Monday morning. He said he was tested on Sunday.

"Nakuha ko po ang resulta na positibo po ako sa COVID-19," Roque said in a virtual press briefing.

Roque said he is currently in isolation. He asked people who had close contact with him to undergo isolation.

Prior to testing positive for the virus, Roque has been known to go around parts of the Philippines to check on COVID-19 protocols and local government units.
