GCash Expanding to Mobile Games So You Can Earn and Play

GCash is known as the mobile wallet you can turn to for online payments and contactless transactions. Soon, the platform will foray into mobile gaming under a partnership with Myanmar's Goana Games.

Gaming is part of the platform's plans to expand beyond payments under its GLife suite that also enables food and grocery deliveries within the app. According to an ABS-CBN report, GCash users can join for as little as P15 to P50, or even for free, with prizes awaiting those who set high scores.

“Now, it’s not simply a pastime, but GCash users can earn money from gaming as well,” GCash President Martha Sazon said. 

GCash users can choose from seven games: Panda Sling, Flip Jump, Hexagon Fall, City Protector, The Escape, Hit the Knife, and City Protector.
