More Monsoon Rains Ahead in Luzon as Fabian Lingers at Sea

(UPDATE) Millions in Luzon will experience monsoon rains on Thursday, as Typhoon Fabian (In-Fa), which is out at sea, continues to enhance the seasonal wet weather, PAGASA said.
Fabian, the sixth storm of 2021, was spotted at 505 kilometers northeast of Itbayat, Batanes at 5 p.m., packing winds of up to 150 kilometers per hour with gusts of up to 185 kph.
Signal no. 1 was raised over Batanes and Babuyan Islands. This means the areas will experience winds of 30-60 kph.

The storm will likely exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility Friday evening or Saturday morning, PAGASA said. It has been inside PAR for most of this week.
Monsoon rains will be experienced in the next 24 hours over these areas:
- Ilocos Region
- Abra
- Benguet
- Zambales
- Bataan
- Tarlac
- Pampanga
- Bulacan
- Metro Manila
- CALABARZON
- Occidental Mindoro
- Oriental Mindoro
- Romblon
- Northern portion of Palawan including Calamian and Kalayaan Islands
