Jimenez reminded the public that only a limited number of applicants will be accepted in mall registration booths daily, following the establishment's operating hours and strict adherence to health protocols.

Applicants may get their application forms at the booths for free. Forms may also be downloaded from the Comelec website or accomplished online at irehistro.comelec.gov.ph.

For applications done via Comelec's mobile registration app, only the QR code needs to be presented. Bring at least one valid ID at the registration booth.

The Comelec has so far registered 4.3 million new voters, bringing the total number of registered voters to 60 million. It is targeting to reach at least 61 registered voters for the upcoming 2022 elections.

The voter registration period ends on Sept. 30.
