Huawei is churning out laptops as fast, if not faster, than it does smartphones. It's the next frontier in its consumer business, and one where it can compete on even footing. It released on Friday the MateBook 14, hoping to lure the work and study from home crowd with a slim, big-screen laptop.

It runs on AMD Ryzen 5 4600H Series Mobile Processors, 16GB DDR4 memory. It also has an upgraded shark's fun fan-cooling system. Some really useful features: a fingerprint reader and a pocket-sized fast charger that can also juice up you phones and tablets.
