A traditional jeepney in Pampanga customized to keep passengers safe against COVID-19 went viral on Tuesday for its unique and functional design.

Facebook user Miguel Paulo posted the photo of his jeepney ride along with praise for the jeepney driver who altered his vehicle to adhere to minimum public health standards.

"This driver deserves a commendation! First time to see and ride a customized jeepney intended for this pandemic. Very good design. Very comfortable seats. Spaces are well-planned," he said in his post.

Instead of the usual parallel seating, solo seating with plastic barriers was done. There is also distance between commuters and windows were kept open for ventilation.
