Pregnant women and children can ride public transport in areas under COVID-19 Alert Levels 1 and 2 beginning mid-November, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board said as more restrictions are eased across the country.

Minors and other members of the vulnerable population such as senior citizens were again allowed to ride public transport since Nov. 15 as new alert levels took effect.

Wearing of face mask is a must while wearing of face shield has been made voluntary since Tuesday according to the Department of Transportation.
