LOOK: China Donates COVID-19 Medical Gear to Philippines
China on Wednesday donated to the Philippines fresh medical gear to help it fight COVID-19, as part of the blossoming ties between the two nations.
Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian turned over 150 units of nasal cannula oxygen therapy equipment to Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea in Malacanang.
Also present during the turn-over ceremony were Presidential Assistant on Foreign Affairs Robert Borje, and representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs, and the Department of Health, Malacanang said.
The donated equipment will help boost the capacity of public hospitals caring for COVID-19 patients, the Palace added.

As of Wednesday, the Philippines has 362, 2543 confirmed COVID-19 infections. The figure includes 6,747 deaths and 311,506 recoveries.
