Filipinos in different parts of Metro Manila sought refuge in open grounds after a magnitude 7 earthquake shook Luzon.
Employees were forced to evacuate from office towers while condo dwellers fled their units to safer grounds after the powerful earthquake.

The magnitude 7 earthquake hit 3 kilometers northwest of Tayum, Abra at 8:43 a.m. with a depth of 25 kilometers, Phivolcs said in a bulletin.
The tremor was initially pegged to be a magnitude 7.3.
