LRT-2 Offers Free Rides on June 12, Independence Day

Commuters can ride the LRT-2 for free at select times on June 12 to celebrate Independence Day, its operator said Friday.

Free rides will be from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in all of its stations, the LRT-2 said.

Asked what the requirements are to avail the free ride, the LRT-2 management said "wala pong kailangan ipakita. You just need to wear your face mask."
