LOOK: LRT-1 Christmas Train is a Tribute to COVID Frontliners
Mask up. Face shields on. This year's LRT-1 Christmas train has both painted on the train body in a tribute to frontliners who continue to battle the pandemic.

"The COVID-19 pandemic hit the country hard, and we know that this year’s Christmas celebration is going to be very different from what we’ve all been used to. But even COVID cannot take away Christmas season and its meaning to all of us," said LRMC President Juan Alfonso.
LRT-1's holiday look also serves as a reminder for Filipino commuters to be responsible in their daily commute and help prevent the spread of COVID-19. During the launch, operators distributed safety kits to LRT-1 passengers at Baclaran Station.
