Magnitude 5.2 Earthquake Jolts Zambales

Just a few hours after Davao Occidental quake.

A Magnitude 5.2 earthquake hit the coast of Zambales on Sunday afternoon, Phivolcs said.

The quake struck west of San Antonio town at 12:41 p.m., with a depth of two kilometers. Aftershocks are expected, according to Phivolcs.

Intensity I was reported in Quezon City, while instrumental Intensity I was recorded in Marikina City and Olongapo City. This intensity level means that the quake was "perceptible to people under favorable circumstances."

The Zambales earthquake came only a few hours after a Magnitude 5.6 tremor also hit the coast of Davao Occidental.
