Magnitude 6.4 Earthquake Strikes Off Occidental Mindoro, Felt in Metro Manila
A magnitude 6.4 earthquake jolted Occidental Mindoro on Monday morning, which was felt i parts of Metro Manila.
The earthquake struck off the northwest coast of Lubang, Occidental Mindoro at 5:05 a.m. and had a depth of 29 kilometers. At least 11 aftershocks, including a magnitude 4.4 at 6:48 a.m., were recorded by Phivolcs.
Intensity III was felt in Quezon City, Mandaluyong City, and Makati City. In Talisay, Batangas, intensity II was felt.
The earthquake was also recorded in the following areas, based on readings of Phivolcs' instruments:

Damage is not expected following the earthquake, Phivolcs said.
