Churches in NCR Plus Back to Streaming Masses During Bubble Quarantine

Churches in areas covered by the GCQ Bubble have reverted to streaming masses after the government barred religious gatherings until April 4 to arrest a surge in coronavirus infections.

The Manila Cathedral, Baclaran Church, and Quiapo Church have all announced suspensions of public celebrations of masses to comply with fresh restrictions.

The Manila Cathedral however said it remains open daily for private prayers and visit.

The implementation of the policy will coincide with Holy Week, meaning this will be the second year in a row that Filipino Catholics cannot go to churches to mark the Easter Triduum.
