The city of Manila is preparing for the celebration of the Feast of the Sto. Niño this Sunday with strict observance of quarantine protocols, photos showed.
Devotees were encouraged to attend mass online to avoid crowding at the Sto. Niño de Tondo Parish Church. Those planning to hear mass in person are required to wear face masks and face shields.
Churches have a limited operating capacity of only 30%. To ensure that devotees outside the church are observing proper social distance, markers were painted on the ground to inform the public where they can stand, and how far apart they should be.
Cleaning and disinfecting efforts in the surrounding area of the Parokya ng Sto Niño de Pandacan were done last Wedensday to ensure the safety of attendees on the day of the feast.
