Marcos Considering Marcoleta, Tiglao for Cabinet Posts
President-elect Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos is considering SAGIP Party-list Rep. Rodante Marcoleta, columnist Rigoberto Tiglao, and lawyer Karen Jimeno to be part of his Cabinet, his incoming press secretary said Wednesday.
Press Secretary-designate Trixie Cruz-Angeles said the inclusion of Marcoleta, Tiglao, and Jimeno in the official family of Marcos Jr. has yet to be decided.
"We can confirm that those names are being talked about but there are no decisions being made yet as of now. Wala pa pong desisyon on any of those names mentioned," Cruz-Angeles said when asked about the possible inclusion of the three.

Marcos Jr. last said last week that he talked to Marcoleta about a possible Cabinet post and is still waiting for the lawmaker's response when asked about heading the Department of Energy.
Marcoleta, who withdrew from the May 9 Senate race, is known for his opposition of the renewal of the ABS-CBN franchise. He was among lawmakers who voted to deny a fresh franchise for the network in 2020, the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic.
