Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto said Monday he was in quarantine after losing a close friend, his driver, to COVID-19.

Sotto said he was awaiting results of his COVID-19 test, which was done last Sunday.

Sotto said he last had contact with his driver on Wednesday and the latter died on Friday due to COVID-19. He expressed his condolences to the family.

On Monday, there was no flag ceremony at the Pasig City Hall. Alternative work arrangement was also reimplemented.
