Lloyd Cadena's Mother Kween Takes on Posers, Demands Respect

The mother of popular Filipino vlogger Lloyd Cadena has finally spoken out about his untimely death in early September. She denounced fake social media pages parading as herself in a time of grief and asked fans to report them. 

"Parang hindi naman maganda na kumikita sila [habang] nagdadala sila ng ibang pangalan, especially pangalan ko kay Lloyd. Respeto naman sakin at tsaka sa anak ko," Mother Kween in the video.

In the same video, Cadena's mother addressed the concerns of fans regarding their family's well-being and assured them that they all tested negative for the coronavirus, which her son had before he died. The vlogger's death was met with outpouring of grief from fans and fellow influencers on social media.  

"Mahirap man tanggapin, tanggapin nalang natin. Kasi alam kong mahal si Lloyd ng panginoon kaya kinuha siya. Although mahirap man sa aming family, wala na tayong magagawa kasi hiram lang naman si Lloyd. Hiram ko lang naman si Lloyd," she said. 

She also thanked fans for their support, as well as Lloyd's influencer friends including Ivana Alawi who reached out to them and helped. 

Cadena's mother has over 1.41 million followers on Youtube, while her late son has 6.5 and 1.4 million followers on Facebook and Twitter, respectively.
