Muntinlupa Suspends Vaccination in Festival Mall Due to Storage Problem
Muntinlupa City said it suspended immunization against COVID-19 at the Festival Mall vaccination site starting Thursday, July 15 due to storage problems, which could affect vaccine quality.
The city's official vaccination page MunCoVac said that based on initial findings, there were changes in temperature in its storage facility.
Those who were scheduled to get vaccinated at Festival Mall were told to wait for further announcements regarding their new vaccination schedule.
Based on the vaccination scheduled released by MunCoVac, the Festival Mall site was supposed to give second dose of Pfizer vaccines from July 10, and July 14 to July 17. Inoculation of second dose using the Sinovac jab was earlier suspended due to lack of supply.
According to the National COVID-19 Vaccination Operations Center, those who got their first jab can still be given their second dose three to six months after the first dose.
