3,792 New COVID Cases as Nation Awaits New Alerts
The Philippines on Saturday reported 3,792 new COVID cases ahead of new Alert Level classifications due out early next week.
This brought total active cases to 84,229. The Department of Health also reported 76 deaths and 10,662 recoveries for the day.
Since the pandemic began in March 2020, the Philippines has reported a total of 3,634,368 cases and 54,930 deaths.
Authorities are set to announce by Feb. 14 new quarantine classifications. Metro Manila is under Alert Level 2, which allows businesses and public transport to operate at larger capacities.
