Outdoor Exercise Allowed Under ECQ, MMDA Says
Outdoor exercise is permitted in the Greater Manila Area during the enhanced community quarantine or ECQ, as long as people stay within their barangays or in front of their homes, the MMDA said.
Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal shifted to ECQ starting Monday, the strictest form of quarantine in a four-step classification system.

"Sana po ine-engganyo natin sila as much as possible doon na lang sa mga tapat ng bahay nila. Kung kailangan magpa-araw, maglakad-lakad ng konti, mag-jogging, dun na lang sa community o doon po sa barangay," MMDA General Manager Jojo Garcia said in a press briefing.
Residents living in one city and going to another city just to exercise are discouraged from doing so. "Huwag na po lalabas, wag na po tatawid ng ibang mga lugar," he said.
Going out to exercise will be allowed from "6 a.m. to 9 a.m., still, we encourage everyone to stay home," Garcia stressed.
