Pasig City is closing off one of its main roads every Sunday to provide residents more public spaces they can visit for free, which will be done weekly until further notice.
Emerald Avenue will be closed off to motorists every Sunday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Only pedestrians and bikers will be allowed passage during the 12-hour period.
“Pwede silang mag-jog, mag-bike, mag-zumba at marami pang iba,” the advisory said.
Residents are still required to observe minimum public health standards such as wearing face masks, maintaining social distance, and disinfecting frequently.
