Mayor Vico Sotto on Thursday inaugurated two new school buildings in Pasig City, again refusing the old politics way of stamping it with politicians' names and faces.

Sotto also gave credit to the past administration and to the city's representative in the House, Congressman Roman Romulo, for the work on the Pineda Elementary School and Bagong Ilog Elementary School.

In the post that went viral, Sotto said Romulo "generously gave credit" to former Mayor Robert Eusebio, who initated the project.

Sotto defeated Eusebio in 2016, ending the family's long reign in Pasig politics. At that time, Sotto had served only one term as councilor.
