Forty days after former president Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III's passing, the Philippine Postal Corp on Monday released commemorative stamps in his honor.

Aquino died in his sleep on June 24 after battling diabetes that took a toll on his kidneys. Sunday, August 1, marked 40 days since his passing.

He was laid to rest at the Manila Memorial Park in Paranaque City alongside democracy icon parents Ninoy and Cory on June 26.
