Portion of EDSA, North Avenue Temporarily Closed for 80 Days

For MRT-LRT Common Station construction.

Lanes along EDSA corner North Avenue will be temporarily closed for 80 days to make way for construction on the MRT-LRT Common Station, a Quezon City advisory said Friday.

"Pansamantalang isasara ang bahagi ng EDSA malapit sa mga kanto ng North Avenue at West Avenue sa susunod na 80 araw, simula ngayong gabi, July 9, 2021," the advisory said.

The temporary lane closure will start at 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following day. According to the MMDA and BF Corporation, there will be no less than 3 open northbound lanes, and 3 southbound lanes.

Traffic barriers, road safety and directional traffic signs, and enforcer flagmen will be in place to guide the flow of traffic for the affected part of EDSA.
