The Real Title of Spider-Man 3 is Revealed After Much Trolling
The real title of the third Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland in the lead was finally revealed on Thursday after its stars trolled social media with fake titles. It opens on Christmas Day.
It's "Spider-Man: No Way Home," Holland, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon said in a Twitter video that also poked fun at the lead star's propensity to leak spoilers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
"No Way Home" follows "Far From Home," set in Europe and the origins story "Homecoming," which also marked Spider-Man's big screen crossover to the MCU from its original silverscreen home, Sony Pictures.
While at Sony, two actors portrayed Spider-Man since the early 2000s. Tobey Maguire battled the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Sandman and Venom in three movies. Andrew Garfield starred in two, taking on The Lizard, Electro and another version of the Green Goblin.
Holland, Zendaya and Batalon posted fake titles in Instagram posts that required users to swipe left to reveal what was not the title of Spider-Man 3. How does Spider-Man: Homewrecker sound?
