Moderate to Heavy Rainshowers Expected Over Metro Manila, Says PAGASA

Metro Manila is expected to experience moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on May 12. 

In a Thunderstorm Advisory issued at 5:40 p.m., the agency said Tarlac, Pampanga, Laguna, and Quezon are also expected to experience the same rainshowers with lightning and strong winds within the next 2 hours. 

The above conditions are being experiencesd in Zambales, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, Batangas, and Nueva Ecija. Said conditions may persist within 2 hours and affect nearby areas.

The agency advised citizens to prepare for possible hazards such as flash floods and landslides.
