Bride for Leni, Groom for BBM Star in Viral Pre-Nup Shoot
Spreading love when the country is divided between rival presidential candidates Bongbong Marcos and Leni Robredo, this engaged couple proudly displayed their opposing polar opposite political colors in a prenup photoshoot that has gone viral.
Divine Grace Abella wore pink and flashed the "L" sign for Robredo while her fiance Enrique Mosqueda wore red and flashed the "V" sign for Bongbong Marcos. Learning to accept each other's differences is one of their learnings after being together for 14 years. They will wed on April 18.
"We just want to share the love, not hate, kasi sa social media talaga ang daming nag-uunfriend, nagba-block ng friends, so nag-go kami sa suggestion, 'di namin ine-expect na mag-trending," Abella, 30, told reportr.
"We made an agreement na we have to be open to each other and we learned to consider each other's feelings and be mindful, kumbaga be observant kung kumusta na kausap mo. From there, it really helps a lot having a healthy conversation," said the 33-year-old Mosqueda.

The two neighbors turned sweethearts from Lapu-Lapu, Cebu go back to the times when they slow-danced to "Ngiti" and "Upside Down" during their teens to remember how their 14-year relationship prepared them to handle hard conversations, like politics.
"[Kapag] papunta na sa pagtatalo, kapag umiinit na ulo ng isa, binababaan na emotion ng isa," Abella said.
"Ako talaga 'yung may tendency na magiging controlling pero good thing naman kasi when she notice na ganun na, mag-stop na siya. I realize that was wrong, ganun 'yung set-up namin kapag nagiging mainit na 'yung usapan," Mosqueda said.
The couple said they wanted to convert each other but would not attempt to do so with other people because it would be draining.
"We agreed na okay lang sa amin na iba ang iboto namin kasi nga we have to understand that this decision does not require one decision from a couple or a family. We both understand and agreed na hindi one ang decision namin," Abella said.
While conversations can get heated, it's best to know when to shut up and stand down, they said.
"We also agreed na after sa election, whoever wins, no hard feelings, walang blame-blame kasi nga Leni ang ina mo o Bongbong... dapat accept lang kung sino ang manalo," said Mosqueda. "Be reminded na 'yung election, it's just gonna pass by, it will end soon."
"After the elections, we all needed to be one, we all have to be united for our goal which is for the nation to succeed and we need to help the incoming president, whether pinklawan ka or Bongbong ka," Mosqueda said.
