Marian Rivera is breaking from the confines of television straight into theater, playing the a strong woman in her debut at Tanghalang Ateneo.

Television's Darna, Marimar, Dyesebel, and Amaya will play Kreon in the playhouse's Password: 03d1pu5_R3x, a revival of the Greek play that is set in the pandemic.

“Napakalaking oportunidad to para sa akin para hindian ko. At masarap minsan china-challenge yung sarili sa mga bagay na hindi mo pa nagagawa at gagawin mo. Bagong pakiramdam 'yun para uli sa akin," Rivera-Dantes told Summit Media journalists about her newest acting adventure.

With the help of her husband, Dingong Dantes, she overcame her fear.

“Ako ay naduwag dahil pakiramdam ko hindi ko po ito kakayanin dahil teatro? Parang salitang teatro palang 'woah sandali lang' medyo kinakabahan ako diyan parang di ko ata kakayanin yan," she said.
