GOMO Offers Unlimited Data, Too. What is It?
There's another telco offering unlimited data aside from DITO -- GOMO -- and it's targeting the same areas in the Visayas and Mindanao where the third telco is launching on Monday.
Like DITO, GOMO is offering the unlimited data service, good for 30 days, as a "regional exclusive." Both telcos' offerings are priced at P199.
GOMO also said in a statement that it was extending its "flash sale" for unlimited data until Wednesday, March 10 -- P299 for 15 days of unlimited data and P499 for 30 days of unlimited data. Connections are capped at 5 mbps.

What is GOMO?
GOMO is a venture of Singtel, the Singapore-based telco that is the Ayala group's partner in Globe Telecom. It's envisioned as an all-digital product for the younger consumer.
The telco sells SIM cards on Lazada, Shopee and GrabMart. No IDs are required, just an e-payment account (credit card, GCash) to pay for the SIM upon checkout.
What makes GOMO different?
GOMO offers 'Mo Creds, which allows subscribers to convert their data into call and text offers. Data allocations as low as 0.2GB can be swapped for allnet call and text allocations. These can be done through the GOMO mobile app.
So, is GOMO Globe all along?
GOMO is a service brand of Globe Telecom and runs on the Globe network, according to ABS-CBN News. However, the brand does not mention Globe in its official website or social media channels. Remember too that Singtel is a shareholder in Globe.
"So far, we’re happy with the results of GOMO. We are able to attract the growing base of digitally savvy Filipinos and leverage on the consumer’s heightened need for digital tools," said GOMO Philippines head Eric Leif Tanbauco.
