The City of Manila is lifting its liquor ban on Monday, June 8.
That means you can go out and get a couple of beers to drink at home.
However, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno stressed that drinking in public places is still prohibited. And of course, minors are not allowed to buy liquor, with or without quarantine.
The liquor ban was imposed on March 28 to support the government’s initiatives to prevent . Its lifting comes a week after Metro Manila was placed under general community quarantine.
Other cities already lifted their liquor bans when Metro Manila shifted from ECQ to GCQ.
