Meet Champ and Major Biden, America's First Dogs

Champ has been with the Bidens since 2008. The family fostered and then adopted Major in 2018. Major is said to be the first foster dog to live in the White House.

Biden brings back the tradition of having a presidential pet after his predecessor Donald Trump was the first U.S. president not to have a dog in the White House in a century.

The last presidential pups were Barack Obama's Portuguese water dogs Bo and Sunny.
