Actress and philanthropist Angel Locsin praised Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong for resigning after he was photographed at a birthday party that violated COVID-19 protocols.
Locsin said it was "refreshing" for a public official to show a "sense of accountability." She shared their photo on Instagram, taken while she was filming her ABS-CBN public service show "Iba 'Yan."
"Just putting this here not to justify pero para may ibang side naman. Ang refreshing makita sa balita na may accountability at sense of honor ang isang opisyal para aminin ang pagkakamali. Kelangan natin ng mga ganito. Also, magaling siya," said Locsin.
