Ateneo de Manila University and De La Salle University on Monday encouraged supporters to wear pink for Vice President Leni Robredo when the two basketball rivals face off on Tuesday.
The presidents of the two UAAP universities released their joint statements in the official Ateneo and La Salle social media accounts.
"On Tuesday, we wear pink," they said in a joint statement using a "Mean Girls" movie reference.
The two archrivals will kick off the second round of the men's basketball tournament at 7 p.m. on Holy Tuesday at the Mall of Asia Arena, with fans allowed to see the action live on limited capacity under Alert Level 1.
