The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas has launched its chatbot, BOB, to help consumers under months of virus quarantine with their complaints against all financial institutions under the central bank.
BOB, short for BSP Online Buddy, "empowers financial consumers by giving them a more accessible channel for raising complaints" said his boss, Ben, that's BSP Governor Benjamin Diokno.
A cross between Robocop and a call center agent, BOB is available on the BSP website, BSP Facebook, and SMS.
"Financial consumers are encouraged to use and take advantage of the technology in order to have accessible, continuous, timely and efficient platform for escalating complaints against BSFIs," the BSP said, referring to banks, remittance centers, e-payment and money-transfer agents, basically all platforms that facilitate financial transactions.
We gave BOB a test run to see how helpful he is
'BOB, my bank is offline again'

BOB, my credit card has unauthorized charges, help!

BOB, thank you for the tips, can you help me?

*SEEN* Okay, BOB, my bank charged interest on my home loan during GCQ.

Pro Tip: If in a dead end, talk to BOB until the AI gives you the option to file a 'new complaint'.
