The largest quarantine facility in Metro Manila is nearly complete and will soon house 525 patients with mild or no symptoms, one of the country's pandemic response czars said Monday. The government is adding thousands of quarantine beds to go hand-in-hand with ramped-up testing and contact-tracing.

Located in Parañaque City and funded by the Razon Group, the mega-quarantine facility is among centers that are being built in Metro Manila, Bulacan, and the Calabarzon Region. These will have a total capacity of 3,000 beds, said Sec. Vince Dizon, Testing Czar and Deputy Chief Implementer of the National Action Plan Against COVID-19.
