Presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos on Saturday denied years-long talk that his family was keeping wealth in gold.
Social media has simmered with talk on alleged Marcos gold, with some saying that it could be given to the public should the only son of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr. win in the May 9 elections.
"Walang ginto. Walang ginto," Marcos Jr. said chuckling in a DZBB interview.

Marcos' mother, former first lady Imelda Marcos, fanned talk of the alleged Marcos gold in 2013, when she said in an interview that her family was willing to share gold bars of her late husband not just to Filipinos but to the rest of humanity as "this will save the world".
The presidential candidate earlier denied the existence of the family's alleged gold riches in a 2017 interview.
His campaign is built on the argument that his father's 20-year rule was the Philippines' "golden years" notwithstanding allegations of human rights abuse and the theft of $10 billion from state coffers.
