Filipino style influencer Bretman Rock has made the cover of Playboy Magazine, which he described as a milestone for the LGBTQIA+ community and brown-skinned minorities.
The 23-year-old showed broke gender conventions dressed as a Playboy Bunny with the top cut so low that it exposed his toned chest and pierced nipple.
"For Playboy to have a male on the cover is a huge deal for the LGBT community, for my brown people community and it’s all so surreal. A total ‘is this even fucking happening right now?’ type of vibe. And I’m so pretty," he said on Instagram.
It will not be unusual for Playboy to feature Rock on the cover, as in October last year, it repackaged as a "New Playboy" promoting sexual wellness for men asnd women.
Around the world, the magazine that has carried heterosexual men around the world into adolescence is moving towards inclusivity, featuring transgender women on covers of its Mexican and German editions.
Playboy is best known for making sex symbols out of peroxide blondes with impossibly big breats like Pamela Anderson in the 1980s to 1990s, something that has become both outdated and unacceptable in the #MeToo era.
