Cebu Pacific said Friday it was offering COVID-19 testing options to its passengers in a bid to regain public confidence in traveling as more movement restrictions were eased.
The Philippines' largest airline said passengers can avail of its "test before boarding" offer with either antigen testing or RT-PCR testing for P700 and P3,300 respectively.
For antigen testing, Cebu Pacific said the facility is already open at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3. Walk-ins are accepted from 2 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.

Airline passengers only need to register onsite and pay the fee directly to its testing partner, Philippine Airport Diagnostic Laboratory. Antigen test results are made available just after 30 minutes.
Some localities that accept negative antigen test results for travelers are General Santos City, Butuan, Dipolog, and Pagadian.
Different local government units have their own respective travel requirements for tourists. Authorities advise travelers to check with the LGU of their destination first for such protocols.
For RT-PCR tests, Cebu Pacific said it has three partner laboratories namely Philippine Airport Diagnostic Laboratory, Health Metrics, Inc., and Safeguard DNA Diagnostics Inc.
Travelers can visit the Cebu Pacific website to schedule their testing.
For domestic travel, tourists can avail of a subsidized RT-PCR test at the Philippine General Hospital, with the Department of Tourism shouldering half of the original testing cost. Those who wish to apply for this must register five days before their trip here.
