Cherie Gil, who died of cancer on Aug. 5, is one of Philippine entertainment's most beloved villains on film and television, with much of her signature work released during the 80s and 90s.

Regal Films has put together a playlist of Gil's most memorable work with the studio in a YouTube playlist that's free to stream.

The selection includes Ishmael Bernal's "City After Dark" where Gil plays a lesbian drug pusher and addcit. Her co-actors in the film, nymphets at that time, would later graduate as serious actresses -- Lorna Tolentino, Rio Locsin and Alma Moreno.

The Regal Films playlist excludes Gil's camp classics with rival studio Viva Films, where she was the scheming foil to the dainty characters played by real-life friend Sharon Cuneta.

That Viva catalog includes "Bituing Walang Ningning" where her character, washed out popstar Lavinia Arguelles, splashes a glass of water on the face of her fan-turned-rival, Cuneta's character Dorina Pineda.
