The occupants of the second hotel room where flight attendant Christine Dacera partied on New Year's Eve before she died faced the National Bureau of Investigation on Thursday.
It was the first time for occupants of Room 2207 to give their account of what happened before Dacera, on New Year's Day, was found dead in the bathtub of Room 2209, which she shared with a separate group of friends.
Twelve were present during the preliminary investigation. They are considered "persons of interest" and will undergo a drug test, said National Bureau of Investigation Deputy Director Ferdinand Lavin.
LATEST ON CHRISTINE DACERA:
Footage from the City Garden Hotel CCTV cameras showed that Dacera and some of her friends hopped between Rooms 2209 and 2207. The preliminary investigation that started on Wednesday will determine what cases can be filed in court if any.
An initial complaint of rape with homicide was scrapped due to insufficient evidence, giving way to a new autopsy and a preliminary investigation at the Department of Justice. The NBI also has its own inquiry.
