UPDATE: Converge said internet service in North and Central Luzon has been restored as of 6:13 p.m. Service in Metro Manila and South Luzon are expected to return to normal tonight.
Converge was a trending topic on Twitter on Tuesday, with customers reporting loss of internet connectivity.
The company acknowledged the issues saying it was working on a solution "at the soonest possible time." The "issues" that affected subscribers nationwide started at 1:10 p.m., Converge said.
There were nearly 13,000 tweets on Converge from the start of the outage to around 2:30 p.m.
