Christine Dacera's mother, Sharon, said she ignores bashers online to stay focused on the fight for justice for the late flight attendant.
A fresh criminal investigation is underway to determine whether or not there was foul play in her death at a New Year's Eve party, as her family insisted.
"Yung mga bash ba na ganyan, tatanggapin mo na lang basta nangyari sa anak mo?" Sharon Dacera said in a YouTube interview with TV host Boy Abunda. "That's what I'm fighting for. Wala naman kaming pera, pero alam ng Diyos na nangangailangan ng hustisya si Christine."

Dacera was criticized on Twitter at one time for calling her daughter a "sacrificial lamb." Reports also swirled that the 23-year-old's death was linked to an insurance claim. The family's lawyer, Brick Reyes, said no insurance claim has been filed.
"That has been scattered around social media na mukhang pera si Mrs Dacera. Buhay ng anak niya yan," said lawyer Jose Ledda III. "Kahit apat na milyon babayaran namin yan para mabuhay ang anak niya ulit."
Mrs Dacera told Abunda that her daughter pursued a career as a flight attendant so that her parents could travel. "Gusto ko kayo talagang i-tour around the world. Yun yung pagmamahal na hanggang sa pangarap niya kasama kami."
TELL THE TRUTH
Dacera was found dead at her hotel room bathtub in the morning of Jan. 1 after a night of partying with friends, including close friend Rommel Galido, to whom the Dacera family pleaded to speak the "truth."
Galido recently recanted his earlier statement that per Dacera's admission at around 2 a.m. on Jan. 1, she believed her drink was spiked. Dacera's family believes she was drugged could also have been sexually abused.
"Ikaw na lang makapagsabi ng totoo kasi ikaw ang kaibigan. Christine trusted you so much that she spent New Year's Eve with you," she said.

Why was Dacera's body embalmed before an autopsy could be made? Reyes the family lawyer said the hospital followed COVID-19 protocols. The hotel where the group stayed is a designated quarantine facility.
Quoting Gen. Debold Sinas, the Philippine National Police chief, Reyes said it was a "lapse" because Dacera had no COVID-19 symptoms.
