Processing of passport applications will be limited from Aug. 6 to 20 in compliance with restrictions under Enhanced Community Quarantine, or ECQ in the capital region, the Department of Foreign Affairs said Sunday.
Only DFA Aseana in Aseana Business Park in Parañaque City will remain open during ECQ to process passport and authentication appointments. Only appointments made for DFA Aseane will be accommodated.
Walk-ins are prohibited.
All other DFA offices and temporary off-site passport service in Metro Manila will be temporarily closed.

What if I was scheduled from Aug. 6 to 20?
According to the DFA, an advisory regarding the new appointment schedule will be sent to the e-maill address indicated in the application.
Those with urgent emergency and medical travel needs may send an e-mail request to [email protected] with copies of their current passport or government-issued IDs (for new applicants.) Documentary prrof of emergency travel must also be included.
A flight booked in advance will not be considered urgent, the DFA said. Passport applicants are advised not to book flights prior to obtaining valid passports.
What about document authentication appointments?
Authentication appointments scheduled on Aug. 6 to 20 in the following offices will be accommodated at DFA Aseana:
- Ali Mall Cubao
- SM Manila
- SM Megamall
- Metro Gaisano Alabang
Original time and date of appointments will be honored.
Applicants can request for early authentication or apostille appointments by e-mailing [email protected]. The e-mail must contain the documents that need to be authenticated, and current passports of valid government-issued IDs, along with proof of urgency.
